Rolling Thunder, Washington, DC., Inc. to Recommission New POW-MIA Kiosk at Vietnam Veterans Memorial
New Facility, Launched on POW-MIA Day, to Help Ensure We “Never Forget”
(Washington, DC) – Rolling Thunder, Washington, DC., Inc. is dedicated to help educate, facilitate, and ensure we never forget service members who were abandoned after the Vietnam War, will dedicate its new kiosk and display at the base of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall. The event will be held on September 21, National POW-MIA Recognition Day, a national day of observance. The new solar-powered structure, which replaces the previous kiosk that burned down in 2010, will give the volunteers of Rolling Thunder the opportunity to continue their mission of advocating the safe return of Americans still missing in Southeast Asia.
